PTO Pumps(Emergency Pumps)

The powerful rotary lobe pump can be either driven by a PTO shaft, a combustion motor, a hydraulic motor or an electric motor. The PTO shaft pumps are installed on a base frame with standardized three-point mounting and dispense with an integrated drive. The mobile pumps can  be transported even to rough terrain by a tractor or Unimog and driven by the auxiliary drive of the vehicles. The pumps convey up to 900m³/h。

Simple And Efficient-The Emergency Pump

The emergency pump dispenses with an integrated drive.By means of the standardized three-pointmounting, the pump lat the front or rear) can beattached to a Unimog or a tractor, lifted and transported to the installation site. The pump is driven by means of the PTO shaft of the vehicle at the operation site.

The emergency pump can be handled very easily. After the PTO shaft and hoses have been connected, the pump is immediately ready for use and conveys absolutely independently from the power supply.

The pump speed and flow rate can be simply and appropriately regulated via the speed of the PTO shaft. Pumps with flow rates of up to 900m³/h can be used for this mobile version. Construction

1、The rotary lobe pump

The powerful rotary lobe pump isdesigned and manufactured individuallyto suit your application.

2、The standardizedthree-point mounting

The pump is installed on a base framewith standardized three-point mounting and can thus be transported by any tractor or Unimog.

3、The suction and pressure connections

The number of suction and pressure connections is freely selectable.

4、The forklift pockets

For longer transports, the compact pump can simply be loaded onto the cargo be dofa transporter or trailer by means of a forklift truck and the integrated forklift pockets.

Functions And Options

Even on the very compact base frame of the emergency pump various accessories can be accommodated. The mobile PTO shaft pump can be driven, for example, by an optional control unit. Upon request, we also install an additional electric motor.

PTO (power take-off) driven emergency pumps have a wide range of applications and are mainly used in situations where additional water sources or increased water pressure are required in emergencies. Here are some common application areas:

  • 1. Firefighting: In the event of a fire, the PTO-driven emergency pump can be driven by the vehicle's engine to provide fire-extinguishing water when there is no other water source. Fire trucks are usually equipped with such devices to deal with various types of fires.
  • 2. Agriculture: The agricultural sector often requires large amounts of water to irrigate farmland or provide drinking water for livestock. PTO-driven emergency pumps can be connected to agricultural machinery such as tractors to provide an additional source of water, especially in areas without electricity.
  • 3. Industrial applications: Some industrial sites need to quickly increase water pressure or provide additional water sources in emergency situations. PTO driven emergency pumps can be used in these situations to ensure the safe operation of the plant or facility.
  • 4. Water conservancy projects: In some water conservancy projects that require emergency drainage or pumping of water, PTO-driven emergency pumps can provide a convenient solution, especially when electric pumps cannot be used.
  • 5. Road maintenance: During road maintenance work, such as draining water or clearing stagnant water on the road, PTO-driven emergency pumps can be used as supplementary equipment to help speed up the work progress.
  • In general, PTO-driven emergency pumps are suitable for various occasions where additional water sources or increased water pressure need to be provided quickly and reliably, and are widely used in fire protection, agriculture, industry, water conservancy and other fields.
